Anthony Walker is the Club Director and Co-owner of Fountain City FC. He has been involved in the KC soccer community for over 25 years as both a player and coach. Anthony has previously coached premier soccer with Sporting BV and KCSC. In addition, he has also coached Boys and Girls Varsity Soccer at Archbishop O'Hara High School.
Growing up in KC, Anthony played premier soccer with KCFC and Legends clubs as well as the Missouri 90 ODP Team. He played forward for Archbishop O'Hara High School earning 2x All-State, 2x All-Region, 3x All-District, and 3x All-Conference honors, as well as Offensive Player of the Year. He was a 4 year Varsity Letterman and 2 year Team Captain. Anthony was inducted into the Hall of Fame for his 70 career goals. In college, he played forward at the US Coast Guard Academy where he was the leading goal scorer and earned multiple Conference honors. Anthony returned to KC after college and played forward for the Kansas City Brass in the USL PDL. During the day, Coach Anthony works as a Behavior Instructional Assistant in the Olathe School District. |
Gregg Hudson is the Club Director and Co-Owner of Fountain City FC. He is a Leavenworth native who is a lifelong player and coach for over 20 years. Gregg has previously coached at Blue Valley High School with the Boys and Girls Varsity program, i9 Soccer, and helped players develop through personal coaching assisting numerous players continue their playing career collegiately. Coach Gregg is also Vice President of KPSL (Kansas Premier Soccer League).
Coach Gregg grew up playing premier soccer for the Leavenworth Lightning before being invited to join the KC Metro Elite. He played soccer for Leavenworth High School and earned several distinct awards in the Kansas Sunflower League. Coach Gregg was a 4x Varsity Letterman, 2x All-State, 1x Kansas Sunflower league 1st team, and holds numerous records and awards at his Alma mater. He was a team captain for 3 years. In College Coach Gregg went on to play at Coffeyville Community College which his team set the school record for most wins going 15-2-2 that remains. Coach Gregg during his time at Coffeyville also captured the school’s first ever conference championship. Due to his contribution during his playing career at Coffeyville Community College, coach Gregg is a member of the Ravens Hall of fame. During the day, Coach Gregg is a School Social Worker in the Olathe School District. |
Austin Engleman joined the Fountain City FC coaching staff in 2019 and hails from Nixa, MO. He currently coaches for Blue Valley High School.
Coach Austin played soccer at Nixa High School where he was a 4 year varsity letterman earning multiple awards including Midwest Regional Team, Southwest All-Star, and First Team All Conference Honors. He played soccer at Rockhurst University, joining his team in reaching the NCAA Division II Final Four. During the day, Coach Austin is a 6th grade science teacher at Pleasant Ridge Middle School in the Blue Valley School District. |
Ryan Bird is the Fountain City FC goalkeeper coach. He works both individually with players and in combination with team coaches to train keepers and develop their skills in the net.
Coach Ryan has played goalkeeper throughout his entire career. In his youth, he played premier soccer with the KC Blaze as well as playing for the Kansas ODP team. He played keeper at Blue Valley Northwest, helping the team earn a national ranking and 3rd place State finish. He still holds the record for most career saves. Ryan has been training goalkeepers professionally for 3 years, as well as coaching JV and Assistant Varsity soccer at Blue Valley High School for the past 2 years. |
Maria (Tote) Echeverry joined the Fountain City FC coaching staff in 2019. Tote is originally from Bogota, Colombia and came to the United States to play soccer in 2015. Before joining Fountain City FC, she was previously a student coach assistant at Baker University.
Growing up in Colombia, Tote played for IDR Futbol Club and Sports Legends, as well as the Colombian National Team Sub 17 in 2013. She played forward for IDR FC, earning League Top Goal Scorer and Player of the Year. She also earned Forward of the Year with Sports Legends in 2014. Tote attended college at Baker University where her team finished in the Final Four in Nationals. During the day, Coach Tote furthers her education at JCCC. She is excited to begin her youth coaching career as a girls coach with Fountain City FC! |
Jordan Evans is joining the Fountain City FC coaching staff in 2021. He has been involved in the KC soccer community for over 14 years as both a player and coach. Jordan has coached premier soccer with KCSC and Kansas Rush.
Growing up in KC, Jordan played premier soccer with KCSC Blackstars. He was a Kansas State Cup Finalist 2011/13, Kansas U17 State Cup Champions 2014, Participated in the Youth National League 2012/13, MRL (Midwest Regional League) 2010-2015, MRL Premier Division 2012-2015. He also played for KCSC GoldStars, Kansas Presidents Cup Champions 2012, Region II Presidents Cup Champions 2012, Placed Fourth in Presidents Cup Nationals 2012. In addition, Jordan has played for Kansas Rush U20, Kansas State Champions 2016, Region II Finalist 2016. Lastly he played for the Kansas 96/97 ODP team. Jordan attended Rockhurst HS and was a 3 year Varsity Letterman as a forward, midfielder, and defender. He earned 2x All-West Region, 2x All-District. 2x MSHSAA Class 3A Fourth Place, 1x MSHSAA Class 3A 1st Place Champion, and Top Dog All-Tournament Team 2014. Jordan was awarded the Golden Boot in 2015 with 17 goals and 16 assists his Senior Year. Jordan played forward, midfield and defender at William Jewell College as well as attending Johnson County Community College earning East Kansas Jayhawk Conference Champions 2016. He moved on to Baker University where his team ranked 5th nationally on the National Tournament as well as placing 2nd in the regular conference season 2017. After college Jordan played for Quinto Elemento FC Semi-pro team. During the day, Coach Jordan works as a Crypto Currency Enthusiast and Blockchain Influencer in Crypto Space. |
